Size selection depends on the amount of bleedings, age and / or if you had a vaginal delivery. Recommendations below are for guidance only. If you are unsure of the size to choose, please consult a midwife or gynecologist before purchase.
- If you have not had a vaginal delivery and / or have minor or normal bleedings, size 1 is recommended. Diameter: 42 mm, length: 47 mm, maximum volume: 23 ml.
- If you have major bleedings and / or have had a vaginal delivery, size 2 is recommended. Diameter: 46 mm, length: 52 mm, maximum volume: 30 ml.
Wash the cup with soap and cold water between swaps. Washing in warm water may cause the blood to clot and could stain the cup. This does not affect the quality but may cause discoloration. Between menstruations, the cup should be sterilized by boiling it in water for about 10 minutes. Let it air dry and store the cup in the supplied cotton bag.
